The McLean County Area EMS System is a joint venture between Advocate Bromenn Medical Center and OSF St. Joseph Medical Center. Formed in 1999 the EMS System is responsible for serving as a resources to the EMS agencies that we serve. Our primary areas of responsibility include education, advocay, quality assurance and improvement, and policy and protocol development.

The system is governed by a joint board comprised of members from each hospital, and the system director also serves on the board.

Dylan is a graduate of Illinois State University with a B.S. in Politicial Science and Government. He has worked in a variety of roles in EMS including as a first responder, EMT, and as a Paramedic. The director is responsible for the overall operation and strategic direction of the EMS System. The director also serves as the dean of the accredited paramedic program

 

Quality Assurance Coordinator

Kris is a graduate of Eastern Michigan Universitys nursing program. The QA coordinator is responsible for investigations, trending patient care, and reviewing EMS PCR's. The QA coordinator also serves as the program director of the accredited paramedic program

Education Coordinator

Jon is a graduate of Columbia Souther University. The Education Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, planning, and execution of the various EMS education programs that the system offers including EMR, EMT, Paramedic, PHRN, PEPP, PHTLS, and the continuing education program. The education coordinator also serves as the lead instructor for the accredited paramedic program

EMS Education Specilists are responsible for instruction of EMS initial education courses including EMR, EMT, and Paramedic.
